Tess Holliday and her partner Nick had always liked the name Bowie, but they wanted to make sure the name fit their son before officially settling on Bowie Juniper.

“He was Baby Doe for the first three days,” Holliday, 31, tells PEOPLE. “We wanted him to have a name that no matter what kind of person he grew into, it would suit.”

Bowie’s dad felt the name was a perfect tribute to the late David Bowie, whom he had long admired.

“David Bowie was really important to me because he was the first person that showed me that there was a different way of being a man,” Nick, 31, says.

On Tuesday, model Tess Holliday shared another breastfeeding photo to Instagram.

In the image, 5-week-old son Bowie Juniper breastfeeds while his mom gets her hair and makeup done for a Pennington’s photoshoot.

“[This photo] reminded me of [Gisele Bündchen‘s] iconic photo breastfeeding on set,” the size 22 model wrote next to the shot, which was taken by her fiancé Nick Holliday.

“Working moms come in all shapes, sizes, colors & creeds!” she continued, with the hashtags, “#normalizebreastfeeding,” “#workingmom” and “#whorunstheworld.”

Proof? The size 22 model, who is celebrating her 31st birthday on Tuesday, posted a black-and-white snap of her 3-week-old son Bowie Juniper breastfeeding freely.

“I had to capture this moment because today was the first time I was successful at feeding lil Bowie [lying] down,” the body-positive second-time mom, who also has a 10-year-old son named Rylee, wrote proudly next to the photo she re-posted from fiancé Nick Holliday.

Alongside strong-arm and party-horn emojis, Holliday added the hashtags, “#normalizebreastfeeding” and “#motherhoodrising.”

The size 22 model and her fiancé Nick Holliday welcomed their first child together, a baby boy, on Monday, June 6, her rep confirms to PEOPLE exclusively.

Son Bowie Juniper Holliday weighed 8 lbs., 10 oz., and measured 22 inches long.
