Children’s wear designer Rachel Riley (and Princess Kate‘s go-to label for Prince George) is introducing a new Eloise-themed collection to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the beloved children’s stories.

From sparkling dresses to whimsical pajamas, Riley has incorporated Eloise’s fun-loving spirit into every piece.

“There’s quite a lot of pink!” Riley tells PEOPLE over afternoon tea at the Plaza Hotel in N.Y.C. “And I love the prints because they’re very creative. I love the idea of taking something inanimate and making it something that can be worn.”

Princess Kate’s Go-To Children’s Wear Designer Launches Eloise-Themed Collection – Reveals Why She’s Like Prince George!

Children’s wear designer Rachel Riley (and Princess Kate‘s go-to label for Prince George) is launching a new Eloise-themed collection to mark the 60th anniversary of the famed children’s stories.

“For me, it’s just a match made in heaven,” the British designer tells PEOPLE.

“She was created in 1955, so it’s an era that’s right up my street, and I’ve always loved the fun illustrations,” explains Riley, whose sales have boomed since George started wearing her designs.

The beloved book series follows the adventures of mischief-maker, Eloise, a 6-year-old girl who causes mayhem at the Plaza hotel, where she lives with her British nanny, her dog Weenie and her turtle Skiperdee.

To keep their tresses looking lovely, the royal family opts for organic styling products  — and now Prince Charles is getting in on the action.

The prince has teamed up with U.K. hair guru Daniel Galvin Jr. to bring his Dubble Trubble products to the U.S.

A portion of the proceeds from the sale of the organic hair and body shampoos for kids go to The Prince of Wales Foundation, a U.S.-based organization created by Prince Charles in 1997 that raises money for sustainable charities around the country.

Prince George’s $62 Cardigan ‘Is on Its Way’ Back to Stores

Prince George‘s appearance on those famous hospital steps might have lasted less than a minute, but thanks to the “George Effect,” his toddler style is already making a big impact.

The cardigan he wore to meet his new sister, Princess Charlotte, “was not even available, as it’s winter stock, but we had a similar one called the Sous Marin and that sold out in every color,” Amaia Arrieta, the owner of Amaia boutique in London, tells PEOPLE. “We sold out in less than 24 hours!”

Luckily for George’s ever-growing fan base, the exact cardigan Kate bought back in November is due back in stock any day.

“It’s on its way! There is a waiting list, so once we have fulfilled those orders, the cardigan will back in stock on our website,” says Arrieta, who owns the tiny, fashionable children’s wear boutique in Chelsea Green with her partner, Segolene Tresca.

Getting out of the car, on his way to meet his little sister for the first time on Saturday, big brother Prince George could not have looked more cute.

Stealing the show (unintentionally, of course) in traditional blue shorts and a blue knitted cardigan, complete with matching long socks, the designer of his adorable look says blue is Kate’s favorite color for him.

“She says he looks really nice in blue,” Amaia Arrieta, owner of Amaia boutique in Chelsea Green tells PEOPLE, adding: “He is blonde with blue eyes and that’s why blue suits him so well – he looked so gorgeous!”

Twenty-one months after welcoming their son, Prince George, Prince William and Princess Kate stood on the steps of St. Mary’s Hospital on Saturday to introduce their second child to the world.

And as the new mama stunned in another Jenny Packham dress — the same designer she wore while leaving the hospital with her firstborn — her baby girl carried on her own tradition.

While sleeping soundly in Kate’s arms, the couple’s newborn daughter wore a sweet bonnet with a white knitted blanket draped over her.
