Being Halle Berry requires a lot of multi-tasking.

As the star and executive producer of the new CBS drama Extant, the Academy Award-winning actress’ schedule is packed with meetings with her fellow producers and quality time with her children: daughter Nahla, 6, and 8-month old son Maceo.

“I love having my kids there [on set] because I am nursing my baby. To have him there is great for me,” Berry, 47, told PEOPLE at the Los Angeles premiere of her new show on Monday. “I love being involved all day.”

And Berry isn’t the only one who loves being involved.

“Every morning I can lose myself just by looking at my son,” her husband, French actor Olivier Martinez, said recently in an interview printed in German Grazia magazine.

See the Beautiful Baby Basket Halle Berry Received for Son Maceo-Robert

10/25/2013 at 02:00 PM ET

We’re pretty sure Halle Berry and Olivier Martinez‘s son Maceo-Robert has everything he needs, but that doesn’t mean his parents’s friends aren’t excited to gift him luxe goodies to welcome him to the world.

And this luxe basket from Bellini is no exception. Worth over $500, it includes everything from Little Giraffe hooded towels and Barefoot Dreams‘s Monkey Pocket Buddy to Trumpette socks and aden + anais muslin blankets in soft grays and blues. There’s even a sterling silver Reed & Barton piggy bank so Maceo-Robert can save up his coins.

Love it, but don’t have a Hollywood budget? The company also offers chic gift baskets starting at $150 that can be customized by gender.

Halle Berry‘s big surprise has arrived!

Berry and her husband Olivier Martinez welcomed their first child together — a baby boy — on Saturday, Oct. 5 in Los Angeles, her rep confirms to PEOPLE.

The American actress and French actor, both 47, have named their son Maceo-Robert, a source close to the couple confirms to PEOPLE.

The “Maceo” part is said to be of Spanish origin — Martinez’s father, Robert Martinez, was a Spanish boxer — and means “gift of God.”

Berry — who is mom to 5½-year-old daughter Nahla Ariela from her previous relationship with Gabriel Aubry — has said that she didn’t expect to have a second child.

Twice As Nice: Nahla Aubry’s Pretty Dress

08/27/2013 at 02:00 PM ET

Nothing makes us smile more than adorable kid fashions. So you can imagine our glee when we spotted Halle Berry‘s little girl, Nahla, in her Lemon Loves Lime Fairy Petals dress (now $25, originally $58) on July 25 while hanging at L.A.’s Century City Mall with her mom and stepdad Olivier Martinez.

Pretty and super soft, the fun frock is part of Lemon Loves Lime‘s Spring 2013 collection and is made of 100 percent Supima cotton. Our fave feature is the multi-colored tiered skirt, which really takes it up a notch.

The 5-year-old loves the style so much she also has the pink version. On June 9, she wore it during a grocery shopping trip to Bristol Farms in Beverly Hills with red ballet flats and loose curls.

It will be a boy come fall for Halle Berry and Olivier Martinez.

“My son will be an American, but I remain French,” Martinez told PEOPLE in Paris on Wednesday.

The actor, 47, made the comment at the opening night of the Champs-Elysées Film Festival, where he is serving as this year’s honorary president.

While joking with reporters, Martinez remarked about his experiences walking red carpets.

“It’s not the first one, not the last [I’ve been on],” he said with a smile. “It’s part of the job.” The actor noted differences between the press line in his home country versus the United States, where he’s lived with his actress fiancée for the past two years.

“I’m French — it’s less important,” Martinez explained. “Meaning, I remain a Frenchman in America, but I adapt to American culture. I feel good there — but I’m still a foreigner.”

“My son will be an American,” he proudly repeated.
