When it came to the celebration for Jillian Harris‘ new baby, son Leo George Tiziano was most definitely star of the show.

“We called it a baby Leo party,” Harris tells PEOPLE exclusively of her Sept. 10 sip and see, honoring her and boyfriend Justin Pasutto‘s son, who was born on Aug. 5. “It wasn’t like a baby shower; it felt like a wedding!”

The fete, organized by CountDown Events Planning & Design with rentals from Avalon Rentals (including gorgeous Pergola Tents by Simon Cooksley), featured blooms by Celsia Florals and custom signs from DeLovely Details.

Bachelorette Alum Jillian Harris Worked a 14-Hour Day Before Giving Birth to Son Leo

No one can call her an underachiever!

In fact, the day that Jillian Harris gave birth to son Leo George, her first child with boyfriend Justin Pasutto, the blogger and host of HGTV’s Love It or List It Too in Vancouver worked a full 14 hours.

“My pregnancy and delivery was not the most glamorous,” Harris reveals to PEOPLE in this week’s issue. “I worked on set, came home, went for a swim and then my water broke!”

Harris’ whole film crew, as well as friends and family — nearly 13 people — were in the delivery room. “It was not at all how I envisioned it, but it was such a hoot,” she admits.

Within two days of welcoming little Leo, now 6 weeks old, the former Bachelorette star says she was “working again.”

“It’s hard when you have your own business,” she shares. “I have people who depend on me.”

No one ever said having a newborn was easy. And for Jillian Harris, the first few weeks of her son Leo George Tiziano‘s life were particularly emotional.

“I was crying every day the first week,” Harris, 36, tells PEOPLE exclusively.

The former Bachelorette star gave birth to Leo, her first child with boyfriend Justin Pasutto, on Aug. 5. “I was trying to give everybody all my love and I felt like it wasn’t possible,” she says.

The blogger and host of HGTV’s Love It or List It, Too in Vancouver decided to try placenta pills, a process in which the placenta is encapsulated into pills and believed to potentially impart health benefits.

“I have nothing to compare it to, but I’ve had so much energy,” says Harris of the effects of the pills. “I haven’t had any major breakdowns and I’ve been feeling really good.”

It’s a boy for Jillian Harris!

The former Bachelorette, 36, and longtime partner Justin Pasutto welcomed their first child, son Leo George Tiziano Pasutto, on Friday morning, Aug. 5, she confirms to PEOPLE exclusively.

Born at 6:02 a.m. in Kelowna, British Columbia, a “healthy” Leo weighed in 6 lbs., 12 oz.

The couple announced their pregnancy news with sweet Instagram posts in March.

Although Jillian Harris says her first pregnancy is a very exciting time in her life, she’s already facing people criticizing her choices.

“Today has been rough because I posted a picture of me this morning in the car with a cup of coffee, and then later on I posted another pic of a coffee. All of these people are like ‘You shouldn’t be drinking so much caffeine,’ ” Harris, 36, told PEOPLE on theset of her Mr. Clean’s Dirty Little Secrets campaign.

“I’m like, well, first of all, it could be decaf. Second of all, I stopped drinking alcohol, I stopped partying, I don’t do Botox anymore … I’m going to drink my damn coffee!”

Another Bachelor baby is on the way!

Former Bachelorette Jillian Harris and her boyfriend of four years, Justin Pasutto, revealed Friday they are expecting their first child in August.

“I can’t remember a time where my heart has been SO full,” Harris, 36, captioned an adorable shot of her and Pasutto (and their dog, Nacho!) cuddling in bed, pointing to her growing belly as she lifts up her tank top.

“A total dream come true!! We are over the moon, stoked, blessed, [ecstatic]!!!! Little babe, we CANNOT wait to meet you!!!!!!”
