Emily Blunt might have to say “Cheerio” to her daughter Hazel‘s British accent.

The mother of two — who shares Hazel, 2, and Violet, 4 months, with husband John Krasinski — spoke to Jimmy Fallon about her older daughter’s changing pronunciation.

“Hazel had my accent for a really long time and would say things like ‘water’ which I was really proud of,” Blunt, 33, told Fallon on Monday night’s episode of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.

“And then the other day she goes, [feigning American accent] ‘Can I have some water?’ And I went, ‘It’s water.’ And she was like, ‘No, it’s [American accent] water.‘ ”

Emily Blunt was not going to let her pregnancy keep her from filming Girl on the Train.

And her costars Justin Theroux and Luke Evans remember how she eventually revealed her secret

“She was not giving a word up, and I was like, ‘Why are you behaving so weird in rehearsal?’ ” Theroux, 45, tells PEOPLE Now. “She was not wanting to jump or run … and this was the woman who did Edge of Tomorrow, this was the woman who has done Sicario, so I know she can handle herself.”

And the not-so-subtle hints kept coming when Theroux and Blunt took a break from rehearsal.

“We went back to my place and I was like, ‘Do you want a drink? Do you want a beer or something?’ ” he says. “And she was like ‘No, I’m just having a green juice and coconut water.’ I was like ‘What’s going on here?’ ”

Emily Blunt‘s new baby is feeling the love from her big sister Hazel.

“She’s taken to it well,” Blunt told Terri Seymour on Extra about her 2½ year old daughter sharing the spotlight with 3-month-old Violet. “She’s doing brilliantly, she’s very kind to her … She was sort of indifferent, and then really loved her.”

Blunt, 33, says her newborn is “doing really well” — and she wonders if birth order really does affect her baby’s demeanor.

“I wonder if it’s the second kid — you’re so relaxed, and then they’re relaxed,” she says. “Your energy is not like, ‘Oh my God, am I gonna kill this child by something that I’m doing?’ ”

If there’s one thing John Krasinksi knows, it’s that he is a fortunate man in both his professional and personal life.

“If we aren’t working, we’re at home with the kids,” The Hollars star, 36, says of the dynamic he shares in raising daughters Violet, 9 weeks, and Hazel, 2½, with wife Emily Blunt. “We raise our kids, and we’re very important and present in our kids’ lives.

“But at the end of the day, it’s important to preserve your relationship,” he continues of the balance he and Blunt find between being parents and being husband and wife. “It’s really fun because I have an amazing wife who also will go out on dates on me. We do one date a week at least where it’s just us.”

When asked what their date nights consist of, Krasinski has a pretty straightforward answer.

“Just go to dinner and talk, it’s really easy,” The Office alum says. “We don’t need much. We just go to dinner and talk and have no baby talk.”
