NBA star Chris Bosh will soon have the starting lineup of his dreams.

Bosh’s wife Adrienne announced Friday that the couple, who revealed they were expecting twins earlier this year, will soon welcome two new sons to the family.

“With great joy We will Welcome Twin Boys in the New Year-2016!” Adrienne, 30, captioned an Instagram photo of the happy couple.

Miami Heat star Chris Bosh and his wife Adrienne are beyond excited about the twins they are expecting this spring.

“Adrienne and I enjoyed a lot of pillow talk while we were dating about having kids and raising a big family,” Chris, 31, told PEOPLE at Monday night’s opening of Sparkle + Shine Darling, Adrienne’s glam new gift shop, cafe and event space in Miami Beach.

He adds, “It’s exciting to actually be doing it now!”

Already the parents of three children, the couple admit they enjoy the chaos of hearing many young voices filling their home.

“I love having lots of children around, and a big family is wonderful for holidays and other traditions. It’s really fun to watch them grow and become cohesive adults,” Adrienne, 30, told PEOPLE during the party that included Chris’ basketball teammate Dwyane Wade and his actress wife Gabrielle Union.

Miami Heat star Chris Bosh and his wife Adrienne, already the parents of three children, have hoped for a family of five children and now will be getting their wish.

“Chris and I are so excited about having twins,” Adrienne, 30, exclusively tells PEOPLE of the news they first learned over the summer while spending the off-season in their Malibu, California, house.

Chris and Adrienne are already parents to Trinity, 6 — Chris’ daughter with Allison Mathis — Jackson, 3, and Dylan Skye, 2. Adrienne says the couple have previously talked about the possibility of having two more little ones because they love children and want a big family.

“The whole thing is amazing,” says Adrienne. “The Bosh side of the family has two sets of twins, so they are overjoyed at the news of having another generation of them.”
