Hello, Elmo!
Carrie Underwood‘s son Isaiah had the time of his life over the weekend when the country star and her tot visited Sesame Place, an amusement park featuring all the favorites from Sesame Street, in Langhorne, Pennsylvania.
In a series of Instagram posts, the proud mom, 33, spent a fun day with her 19-month-old, whom she shares with husband Mike Fisher.
“Since we were in the area…we got the chance to make Isaiah’s day! Thanks, #sesameplace for the fun! We all had a blast!” Underwood wrote in a post, showing her son being greeted by Big Bird, Elmo, Cookie Monster, Zoe and Count Von Count.

In a subsequent post, Underwood shared an adorable photo of her son — dressed in jeans and a gray jacket with white stars — embracing his furry new friend, Elmo.
“Isaiah [loves] ELMO!!! #sesameplace,” she wrote in the post.

And the Sesame Street star sighting didn’t end there. Later in the day, Underwood — who was spotted munching on popcorn with Isaiah in tow as they made their way around the amusement park — posted a photo of her toddler covered in a few new plush pals.

The mother-son duo stopped by the park’s Sesame Street en route to Hershey, Pennsylvania, where Underwood continued her North American leg of The Storyteller Tour. Last month, she talked to PEOPLE about life on the road for her family of three.
“On days off, we look for parks and zoos and aquariums,” she said. “It’s definitely a balancing act. I have help, because someone has to watch Isaiah when I’m on stage, but we live a lot more on the bus now instead of going in and out of hotels.”
For Underwood, it’s important to make sure Fisher — a center for the Nashville Predators — spends time bonding with Isaiah.
“We FaceTime almost every day so [Mike] can have a little interaction with Isaiah,” she says. “That has to be hard, for him to be away from Isaiah. I have never been on that side of it. They need their time together because Isaiah loves his daddy!”
Underwood is slated to perform in Indianapolis, Indiana, on Tuesday.
