Rob Kardashian and Blac Chyna are getting ready to welcome their first child. But even though they know they aren’t going to use a “K” name for their baby, there’s one thing they are keeping a mystery (for now): the sex.
“We leave that up to God,” Kardashian, 29, tells PEOPLE. “We’re going to wait to find out when the baby comes out.”
“Rob is going to cry for sure,” adds Chyna, who will star with her fiancé in their E! reality series Rob & Chyna, premiering Sept. 11.
“I’m going to be very happy,” adds Kardashian. “If there are tears, they’re going to be tears of joy.”

The decision to expand their family is something the couple has been talking about for a while.
“We definitely discussed having kids,” says Chyna. “Rob made it very clear that he wanted to have a baby. Babies, actually! He wants me to have, like, four.”
“If I had found somebody at 19, I would have wanted the same thing then. But I never found anybody,” Kardashian adds. “Part of life is to build a family and have kids. And I thank God that we’re able to. It’s very exciting to me to be a first-time dad.”

Chyna recently posed for a stunning black-and-white nude maternity shoot for Elle. And despite the couple’s comments to PEOPLE about keeping their baby’s sex under wraps, the 28-year-old model told Elle they would be revealing the baby’s sex a little sooner.
“You all will find out [the sex of the baby] during the premiere of our show on September 11,” she said.

When asked what he thinks his late father Robert Kardashian would tell him today, Kardashian notes his dad would be “happy, looking down” — and that the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star himself is excited to pass the type of relationship he had with his own father down to his child.
“I had a really close bond with my dad. I was only with him for 15 years,” he tells PEOPLE. “That’s why I’m looking forward to having that long-term bond with my child and being funny and goofy like my dad was.”
