Two-year-olds have a full set of teeth, doesn’t it hurt when he bites? I did not breast feed my children, also my choice! Geesh, can’t we just be kind and enjoy our choices?!?

The child isn’t safely strapped in to that seat! People will probably jump all over me but it makes me cringe when people don’t take the time to appropriately secure their children in any vehicle/mode of transportation. Aside from the fact that he should be wearing a helmet. As for breastfeeding, totally the choice of Mom and baby. Bottle or breast, FED is best. That’s all that matters.

No it does not hurt when they have teeth because they suck out milk not chew your nipple. It’s a lovely bonding experience. I’m tired of these stories, not because I hate seeing a breast feeding mom but because I hate seeing the alleged disgust people say they have over breastfeeding when breasts are all over the place. All over TV, magazines, billboards, and almost every teen that swears she looks cute in her push up bra.

Don’t understand the need for the “exposure” (no pun intended). You nurse. Goody for you. A two year old nursing in this day and age isn’t unusual. Although, it is more for the mom than the child at this point. It seems more like the moms can’t seem to let their babies grow up. There many ways to bond other than nursing.

I am all for breastfeeding and I don’t have issue with people who breastfeed in public. After all, a baby has to eat… what I don’t get is why these celeb post pictures of it on their social media with hashtags like they’re doing some amazing thing that no one has ever done before. Believe it or not, breastfeeding is more accepted than the media wants to let on. Yes, we see the stories where women are asked to cover up or they are shamed for it when in public, but what we don’t see are the MILLIONS of women who BF every single day without issue. The rate of BF’ing acceptance is far higher than some would have you think. Posting a picture of yourself on social media like they’re some kind of martyr almost makes me want to roll my eyes. You are not furthering a cause. You are not creating a stepping stone for other mother’s. You’re not doing anything that millions of other moms (who choose to do so) aren’t already doing. I think *this* is where the resistance comes from. When women act like they’re doing something so new and innovative, and posting on social media begging for validation, is where they start to run into the naysayers.

“Geesh, can’t we just be kind and enjoy our choices?!?” Oh the irony, when you started off with a tone that mocks her choice. She never says anything against not breastfeeding, her comments are specifically about HER body and her choice. She doesn’t imply anything about anyone else’s choice.

Doctors disagree that “two is too old.” And it’s a beautiful photo, regardless of my own choices in feeding.

To the person who says Dodgers say 2 is too old, NO. they say at least 6 month and preferably until 12 months and then as long as the child allows.
Breastfeeding is best. This nonsense about how everything is equal and formula is just as good…nope. Breast is best.
If she wants to nurse into his 2nd and 3rd year (did he just turn 2?) that’s her choice. I had a 33lb 12 month old so I understand how houst8ng a big baby can be tiring but it was lovely. I weaned him by 14 months. If she wants a few more maths then good for her. 3, 4 or 5 years old? I think that’s a little different.
We need to promote the benefits and we need to stop using the sight of women’s bodies just for sex. That’s why everyone gets creeped out. We’ll see countless waifish 18 year olds in Victoria’s Secret but a woman feeding a baby? SCANDALOUS.
