Justin Timberlake on Fatherhood: ‘I’ve Never Had More Poop on My Person!’
DreamWorks Animation
Trust Justin Timberlake to always keep it real.
While the new dad is head over heels for his 13-month-old mini-me, the singer isn’t hiding the not-so-glamorous side of fatherhood in a new interview with Carson Daly on 97.1 AMP Radio.
“Here’s what I’ll say — all I know is I don’t know what the hell I did before. It’s an extremely humbling experience, and I’ve never had more poop on my person!” said Timberlake, who just released his new single “Can’t Stop the Feeling” (which he wrote for his upcoming film Trolls). “I was talking with someone the other day and they were like, ‘Well, I have a dog!’ ”
But while most dog owners “roll in there with the heavy duty Bounty paper towels” the singer, 35, says he has no hesitation getting his hands dirty for Silas Randall. “I’m like, ‘Dude, when you have a kid, you just get in there, man!’ ”

When the star’s new movie hits theaters in November, Timberlake’s son with Jessica Biel will be at an age where he’ll be “kind of into the toys and things like that,” he says.
“I think it was serendipitous in that way where having just had a son and going like, ‘Wow! This is kind of cool!’ But who knows? By the time he watches the movie, he’ll probably be like, ‘Dad! That’s not cool!’ ”
Aside from staying busy with his family and other film projects, the entertainer is also working on his highly anticipated fifth studio album — and his fans may be surprised to hear his new sound.
“Growing up in Tennessee — very central of the country — Memphis is known as being the birthplace of rock and roll, but also the home of the blues, but Nashville’s right down the street so there’s a lot of country music,” he teased.
