Carrie Underwood on Having More Kids: ‘I Could Do a Few More of Those’
Carrie Underwood was the belle of the ball at the 2016 American Country Countdown Awards, but it seems like the mom of son Isaiah Michael, 14 months, may be getting some stiff singing competition at home.
“He likes to sing,” Underwood told PEOPLE backstage at the 2016 American Country Countdown Awards at The Forum in Inglewood, California. “If you just go ‘la-la-la’, he’ll go ‘la-la-la-la.’ He mimics really well.”
In addition to singing, Isaiah has other interests. “Right now he is a climber, which is not good,” she shares. “He’s into everything. He runs. He babbles. He’s a good eater.”

When it comes to food preferences, Isaiah isn’t following Mom’s vegetarian diet. “He loves everything. He’s not a huge meat eater, but he likes turkey and stuff like that. Lots of veggies,” she adds.
Underwood, 33, couldn’t help but talk some more about her “good guy,” saying, “he’s an easy baby,” and adding she is open to expanding her family. When asked if she’s thinking of having more children with husband Mike Fisher, the “Church Bells” singer immediately replied, “Oh definitely!”
“I’m not sure when because we’re both kind of busy these days,” she says with a laugh. “But yeah, definitely. And I’m like, ‘He’s so good — I could do a few more of those.’ ”
