Coco Rocha Says Daughter Ioni Will Likely Be ‘Some Sort of Scientist’ – Not a Model
Coco Rocha can’t believe how much her baby girl has grown.
“It’s flown by so fast,” Rocha told PEOPLE of life with her 10-month-old daughter Ioni James while sporting her new clothing line Co+Co atop the Empire State Building on Wednesday.
“I keep thinking she is a little baby and then I look back at photos and I’m like, ‘Oh my goodness, you’ve accomplished so much in one year already.’ ”

The first year has been full of fashionable moments for both Rocha and Ioni, but the model isn’t convinced her daughter will follow in her footsteps down the runway.
“This is my world so it’s definitely going to be her world,” the new mom says.
“Will she want to be a model? I don’t think so because you never want to do what your mom does. I keep saying she’s gonna be some sort of scientist. Something crazy where I just couldn’t help her in her maths or reading skills.”

Although she may skip a future in the fashion industry, Rocha says Ioni is already happily trying to strut her stuff.
“I think every day is a milestone,” she says. “It gets quicker and faster and you’re like, ‘Slow down, girl! You have the rest of your life to crawl.’ ”
She adds, “A few weeks ago she was crawling and now she thinks she can walk without holding hands — but that’s a ‘no,’ she can’t. So there’s a lot of falling down, a lot of bruises, but she keeps going.”

Some of Ioni’s new favorite activities? Saying “Dada” and playing with her baby doll.
“She just learned how to hold her baby and give it a bottle and it’s so cute,” Rocha shares. “She doesn’t call it baby, she calls it ‘beedee.’ I’m like, ‘You’re 10 months. You are a master,’ although you always think your baby is better than everyone else’s baby.”

For now, Rocha and her mini-me are planning a trip overseas for their next adventure.
“Ioni and I are heading to Europe, where we will meet [my husband] James‘ mummy, who will be taking care of her while I do a little bit of Milan and a little bit of Paris,” she explains.
