Tess Holliday Expecting Second Child
There’s a baby on the way for Tess Holliday!
The plus-size model, 30, is expecting a child with her partner Nick in June.
“It definitely was not planned and I was a little nervous when I first found out, but I’m excited!” Holliday tells PEOPLE exclusively.
Holliday — who has a 10-year-old son Rylee from a previous relationship — says she is looking forward to having a newborn again.
“When I had my son, I was 20 and I didn’t know what I was doing and I didn’t have help. I’m really excited to be doing it again and have support, and be able to enjoy having a baby, because I couldn’t last time,” says Holliday, who just announced her new clothing line with Canadian retailer Penningtons.

And even though she’s done it all before, Holliday admits she’s a little scared.
“Anyone who is having another child, or even their first child, is lying if they’re saying they’re not nervous,” says the social media star. “I am worried about my ability to detach from work, and being able to focus on my family.”
“It’s [also] been 10 years since I had a kid, so there are so many things that are new,” she added. “My friends that have babies are posting all of these new swings and breastfeeding techniques and new bottles, and it’s really overwhelming because I thought, ‘I’ve already done all this,’ but it feels like I haven’t. I’m having to relearn a lot!”

While Holliday has not yet found out the sex of her baby on the way, Rylee is hoping for a boy.
“He was apprehensive at first, but he really wants a little brother,” she says. “We told him on Christmas. We got him a little present and we put the ultrasound in it. He’s excited!”
Nick is equally eager for the new addition to their family.
“I think it really solidifies the two halves of our family coming together,” he says. “It will be nice to have the family more blended.”
