Sandra Bullock Reveals the ‘Inappropriate’ Halloween Costume Her Son Picked Out For Her

Sandra Bullock and her son have very different ideas of what an appropriate Halloween costume is.

Bullock stopped by The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon on Wednesday night, where they talked about what Bullock, 51, and her 5-year-old (we mean 5¾, of course) son Louis had planned for the holiday weekend.

While Bullock says that Louis was planning to go trick-or-treating as a Ninja Turtle, a “classic” costume as Bullock explains, he had a very different idea when it came to picking out his mother’s look for the night.

“We usually match, but this year he sort of deviated off the matching,” Bullock says, revealing that Louis chose a “Slutty Batgirl” costume for his mother.

“It was like the most inappropriate thing,” she recalls. “You know how there’s regular Batgirl, and then there’s the ones for those moms that like to really turn it out? Like a little leather skirt, and the boots that go over the knee, and a bustier?”

“I’m not going to be wearing that,” she jokes.

Bullock explains that the two were looking through a costume catalog when it caught his eye.

“He went, ‘Mama, you hasta wear this!’ ” Bullock says. “And I went, ‘No, mama doesn’t hast to. I’m not wearing that around your friends.’ ”

So what will Bullock wear instead?

“Either a pirate wench, covered head to toe, or just the basic mime,” Bullock shares with a laugh.

And while Bullock seems to have avoided a potentially embarrassing situation with her Halloween costume, she found herself in a rather sticky situation with host Jimmy Fallon.

Fallon and Bullock were reminiscing about working together on a Canadian soap opera called Jacob’s Patience, in which Bullock owned an ice cream store. While the Our Brand Is Crisis actress only has fond memories of their time together on set, Fallon paints a very different picture of working with the actress.

“You were a little difficult to work with,” he says. “You refused to use your own arms.”

Fallon explains that in order to make Bullock feel more comfortable, the director made everyone on set use mannequin arms as well.

Things got messy when they played a clip from the fake show, as Bullock tried her best to scoop ice cream using only fake arms. And like every Jacob’s Patience sketch, the two managed to get food everywhere as Bullock dipped her fake hands into hot fudge, broke every cone and even lost one of her fake hands in the process.
