Bump, there it is!
Mom-to-be Liv Tyler gave the first good glimpse at her baby belly in a black-and-white snapshot taken while lounging in bed on Sunday.
Tyler, 37 — who, in addition to her baby on the way with boyfriend David Gardner, is also mom to son Milo, 9, with ex-husband Royston Langdon — recently told Town & Country she is taking advantage of all her pregnancy perks.
“The most fun thing about being pregnant is having those mom hormones flowing around,” she said in the magazine’s December issue.
“You’re more present in your body and it’s making me a better mother for Milo. You become more like a child. When you’re tired, you have to sleep immediately. When you’re hungry …”
And there are plenty of other benefits to expecting a baby — like indulging in delicious foods without having to hit the gym.
“It’s fun not being on a diet or thinking, ‘Oh my God, I have to go to SoulCycle every day,’ ” she says.
But perhaps the actress’s greatest joy is having her life come full circle. Not only has she always wanted a second child, but her appearance on The Leftovers fulfills one of her other almost decade-long dreams.
“For seven years, I’d been saying I wanted to do an HBO show with an ensemble cast,” she explains. “And I wanted the house in the country. And getting to have another child?”
Tyler, who recently purchased and renovated a home in Hudson, New York, adds, “If you knew me well, they were the things my heart longed for. And they all came together, like a speeding freight train, in one year.”
