Alyssa Milano has a new little boss in her life: her baby girl!

The Mistresses star welcomed her second child with husband David Bugliari on Thursday, Sept. 4, her rep confirms to PEOPLE.

Daughter Elizabella Dylan Bugliari arrived weighing 7 lbs., 7 oz. and measured 19½ inches long.

“Mommy and baby are doing wonderfully,” her rep says in a statement.

Milano, 41, announced in March that she and Bugliari were giving their son, 3-year-old Milo Thomas, a sibling — a milestone the former Who’s the Boss star had been looking forward to.

Two weeks later, the mom-to-be debuted her baby belly and, in May, revealed the couple were thinking pink. But finding out the sex wasn’t much of a surprise for Milano, who told Fit Pregnancy that she always knew she was expecting a daughter.

“With Milo, I didn’t have a minute of morning sickness. So I knew it was going to be a girl,” she explained.

As for bouncing back after giving birth, Milano is putting regaining her pre-baby body on the back burner and is determined to spend the time enjoying motherhood.

“A female body is not made to look good in a bikini. It’s made to give birth and have a baby and be a cozy companion for it afterward,” she has said.

Thought I had heard every possible name, good and bad…

Never heard this combination before…I think it’s beautiful.

Heather on

Awe, good for her. Sweet name too.

Stef on

Congrats to them. I like the name.

Erin on

Personal opinion – prefer Isabella – don’t like the combination of Elizabeth and Isabella. Given her Italian heritage, Isabella would have been beautiful.

klutzy_girl on

Unexpected name but I think it’s pretty and I love it. Congratulations to Alyssa and David!

Mary on

Congrats, love the name, bet she is a cutie pie. They can call her Bella.

L on

I REALLY love the name, congrats!!!

bkable on

This is not a name I’ve heard or thought about before. It’s beautiful! Different but not outrageous.
Congratulations!

Lisa on

What a pretty, unique name! Love her. I hope Mistresses gets picked up for season 3 – it’s my summer guilty pleasure!

justine on

Love what she said: a female body is not made to look good in a bikini.
Congratulations to the new mom.

miketen on

Wow, it seemed like she was pregnant for a long time. Congrats.

Torrance on

THANK GOD she didn’t name her AVA like everybody else on the planet. FINALLY, a classic yet modern name.

dancer92136 on

Congratulations. From all appearances Alyssa is a wonderful mom, and I am betting the baby is as beautiful as her name.

Delores on

Congrats and nice name for her little girl!

Judith Warren on

congratulations to you and your family

Amanda on

Call me crazy but I have been Googling Alyssa for weeks thinking I missed her baby news. Such a big fan of this woman because she is the real deal – Congratulations to this beautiful family. The name chosen is unique and beautiful!

Robynn on

What a beautiful and unique name. Congratulations to the whole family.

Seriously? on

Erin, how dare she name her child a name that you don’t care for!

Seriously. STFU.

aJ on

She is probably as beautiful as her mama! Congrats Alyssa and David! 🙂

MandarinOrange on

Love Elizabella, thats my daughters name!

lola on

NIce “normal” name. I have 4 daughters … with 2 I had morning sickness, with the other 2 nothing. You can’t really go by that, but for her it worked. Hope everyone is happy and healthy.

lola on

Torrance there is nothing wrong with the name Ava! It is a BEAUTIFUL name!! Who cares if it is really common right now, there’s a reason for that ….it is a beautiful name. There are names more common than Ava and yet the world is ok. You will be too.

Brooke on

This is going to be a tough name growing up. She will be called Elizabeth and Isabella a LOT. Pretty name though

keb905 on

As the mom of an AVA, back off Torrance. We didn’t pick the name because it was popular (we don’t even know another Ava) we picked it because it is beautiful and classic and went well with our last name. Let’s keep the focus on the beautiful new baby in the world. Not on disparaging other people’s choices for their children.

Very pretty name and may God Bless their family. Love her. Very talented actress.

Mary on

What a unique, beautiful and feminine name. Congrats on a healthy baby and to the family. I love the combination of the classic sounding first name with a more contemporary middle name.

lucasmom on

I love her and wish her continued blessings and happiness

Wendy on

Congratulations!! Her baby was born on my birthday. Wishing the entire family much happiness.

Gail on

Congrats to the family for the new addition!

Torrance on

Lighten up, Keb905 and Iola. Those AVA names are annoying because in every classroom, there will be 12 Aidens (boys) and 18 Avas (girls) and it will wind up becoming exasperating for the children saddled with the same name as everybody else. Nobody said Ava isn’t a pretty name; it’s just too overused.

Denise on

Love her name, best wishes to everyone

Ala Lemon on

I’m going to guess they couldn’t choose between Elizabeth and Isabella. I wonder how they’ll call her, Eliza or Bella? Congratulations, though

Cindy on

CONGRATULATIONS! What a special time welcoming a baby into the family is. I love her name. Wishing all good health and happiness

Truthfinder on

Love the name, love the mommy and daddy, love and kisses to baby Elizabella!

Love Alyssa and LOVE the new baby name but I hate when people think that because a pregnancy if different from the last, that you are going to get the opposite gender of what you first had. Same think with twins- I have mono-di boys. People ask all the time if I think they are having twins because they are so sick… NO! Every pregnancy is different. My twin pregnancy was hell, but my friend Alison’s was cake! Congrats Alyssa!

Macy on

What an adorable and unique name. Congrats to Alyssa and family!

Callie on

What a beautiful, lovely, feminine name. Congratulations!!!!!

charlotte on

Beautiful name!

Suzanne Wehrly on

Malatia27 on

Love the name, really beautiful. Putting it on my baby name list for sure. Congrats to the beautiful family!

Gina-Nicole on

I hope Jay Mohr doesn’t say anything stupid! Alyssa has more class in her pinky finger than Mohr will ever have. Congratulations, Alyssa. I am sure your baby is as beautiful as you are.

Karen on

Congrats to them on their new “Bundle of Joy!”. The name is different
maybe it’s a combination of names of both maternal grandmothers!

Tee on

What a beautiful name they’ve chosen for their new baby daughter! Congratulations to Alyssa and her family!

Guest on

What a sweet name for their new little one! Milo will be a great big brother!

Juli on

Congratulations, Alyssa, David and Milo! I love the name and the nearly endless possibilities of nicknames.

Dulce Mae on

Yuck! This name is as boring as the originals, it’s gaudy, and there is nothing unique about it, splitting 2 names a making a new one, hmmmm….that’s been done before. I prefere Eliza..just simply Eliza, it’s beautiful, sophisticated and classy, not boring like plain ole Elizabeth or the really pretty but seriously overused Ava! I wish people would think before ruining a good thing! Other then my opinion which I’am entitled to like everyone else, I say: Congatulatons! May she enjoy a happy and healthy life! Blessed Be!

Susanne on

Interesting choice! Is it pronounced like Elizabeth with a short i sound? Or like Eliza with a long i?

lulu on

I’m sure they’ll call her Bella (not Liz or Eliza) and that will make her in the top 4 names for dogs…..

KL on

Ugh that name kinda sucks!!!

Melissa on

I have never heard the name Elizabella and I think it is beautiful. I love it! Good luck to them.

Lisa on

Beautiful name! Congratulations, Alyssa!

Mandy on

I love what Alyssa said about a woman’s body, so damn true! Finally a woman who is not in a rush to get back into shape, she is just enjoying motherhood.

I love the name she chose for her daughter, congrats!!

Tina on

Talented actress, very happy for her!

stephanie on

Congrats!

Marky on

So, let’s get this straight….Scarlet Johanssen has a daughter, names her Rose Dorothy (which doesn’t flow at all, and combines two names of the women from Golden Girls), and posters swoon over the name as if it’s the only name that isn’t weird in the last 30 years! Rose is lovely, Dorothy is fine, but together it makes a sound like fingernails on a chalkboard. Alyssa chooses a beautiful name, Elizabella Dylan, which is a lovely feminine name that flows well whether I want to name my child either name or not. The negative, rude posts astound me. Elizabella isn’t some weird off the wall name, and goes well with the names of the rest of the family. Why do any of you feel it’s okay to jump up and down on someone’s name choice for their own child? I named my children common, lovely names with deep meaning for us, and my assumption is…so did they! Stop putting other peoples’ name choices down in such a rude way, and then having the chutzpah to then defend your rudeness by saying, “It’s my opinion!!” You couldn’t care less about what they name their child, but you surely do love to make a person feel like crap any way you can.

Maire on

Elizabella is a mouth full! But to each their own …

JosieJ on

I don’t see the point since Isabella is the Italian version of Elizabeth, but congrats.

Mommytoane on

Love the name. I’ve heard of Eizabelle before, but Elizabella has a beautiful ring to it. Congrats to the happy parents.

Stew on

That’s a unique, but oddly beautiful name!

Anonymous on

Congratulations to them!

blondechick on

I was pronouncing the name wrong, until I read a few posts that said they put Elizabeth and Isabella together. I was pronouncing it El-lie-za like the actress Eliza Dushku. Now I like the name, very unique and pretty.

Now Milo got a little sibling a bundle of joy!

vanx2801 on

lol. I wonder if People magazine knew that they used the same lead sentence when they announced the birth of her son. LOL. Things to laugh at sometimes. Congrats to her.
