Twice As Nice: Halle Berry and Dania Ramirez’s Floral Maxi

Great minds think alike — especially when you’re expecting. Just a few days apart, moms-to-be Halle Berry and Dania Ramirez wore the same tie-dye print maxi ($199) by Seraphine. And they both looked gorgeous.

Berry paired hers with a straw fedora and aviator sunglasses on Sept. 16 to walk daughter Nahla to her Studio City, Calif. school, while Devious Maids‘s star Ramirez donned the dress to her Sept. 21 baby shower in West Hollywood.

Made of silk, the chic gown can either be worn as a halter or strapless. Either way, the flowing chiffon fabric is guaranteed to beautifully drape your bump.

I think Halle looks better in some of her fitted maternity wear. Although I can understand why some prefer looser, comfier clothing, the length of these dresses seems cumbersome.

Dania Ramirez is pregnant with twins, and is quite small. Halle Berry is a bigger woman and has been pregnant what seems like 2 years. Length of dresses is one of those things that is personal choice, so what one person loves, someone else dislikes. Both look very nice, but I personally like the dress on Dania best.

“Trailing on the ground” long is a tripping hazard. I’m not advocating mini skirt length, but this seems way too long.

I like the dress on both, but Dania is busting out of her’s. Looks like she’s very close to a wardrobe malfunction.
