Jennifer Love Hewitt Pregnant Engaged Debuts Bump, Ring FameFlynet

Jennifer Love Hewitt has that pregnancy glow – and a new ring to match!

The actress, 34, couldn’t hide her excitement while strolling through Florence, Italy with her fiancé (and Client List costar!) Brian Hallisay on May 31.

The expectant Hewitt, whose engagement was confirmed by PEOPLE on June 5 — the day after her pregnancy was announced — sported a long, floral dress, hat and scarf during her European getaway, showing off her tiny belly and flashy ring-finger bling.

“This is a wonderful time and we are looking forward to starting our family together,” the couple, who expect their first child later this year, told PEOPLE at the time.

So happy for her ♥

While I’m so very happy for her, I find myself wishing that the Hollywood crowd would try getting married first BEFORE having a baby. I think it sets such a poor example for young girls when the people they idolize do this. Teenagers don’t realize that celebs are better financially prepared plus they already have a career. Call me old fashioned.

Amen Rosebudd I am so with you.

She looks stunning. I wish them the best; I see her being such a hands-on, loving Mom!

Rosebudd- And marriage magically makes one more prepared (financially or otherwise) for children? Now, I believe very strongly in marriage before children (and marriage before sex, for that matter), but basically saying that only married people are fully prepared to have babies is just silly, in my opinion!

I also fail to see how a celeb in her 30s (regardless of marital status) promotes teen pregnancy in any way!

Celebrities are under absolutely NO obligation to be positive role models or to set god examples for today’s young girls. Zero. However, it IS a parent’s job to find positive told models for their child, whether it is an intelligent, strong relative or anybody who is worth emulating. If your children have nobody but celebrities to look up to, then your parenting is deficient.

*good examples. Funny typo nonetheless. Ha. Oh, and “role” models. The share/react button is hiding half of what I write.

I think she is absolutely gorgeous and I am so happy for her!! While I’m waiting until after I’m married to start my family, I don’t feel that gives me the right to judge her or any other celebrity for their choice not to be married first. She is financially capable of supporting herself and her baby so if that’s what she wants then she should go for it. Everyone has a different opinion and just because someone’s opinion/choice is different than your own, doesn’t make them wrong, it’s just different. I also agree with Amanda that it isn’t a celebrity’s responsibility to be a good role model. While it’s nice if young girls can look up to a celebrity, it’s true that it’s the parents’ responsibility to instill values and morals.
