Christel Khalil Hensley Welcomes Son Michael Caden

It’s a boy for The Young and the Restless star Christel Khalil Hensley!

The actress, delivered son Michael Caden Hensley on Saturday, April 17 at 4:14 p.m., husband Stephen Hensley confirmed via Twitter. Baby Michael weighed in at 6 lbs., 6 oz.

“Thank you everyone that send prayers and love to our way,” Stephen wrote. “We have a prince that is born! Thank you Father God for your grace and gift!”

This is the first child for Christel, 22, and her husband, who wed in September 2008. The couple announced the pregnancy in December.

There is nothing wrong with the name Michael. It is a classic name. Besides, we don’t know if he was possibly named after someone special to them.

I was waiting for this announcement. I saw his pic on Twitter and he is absolutely adorable and big! I didn’t realize Christel is so young she carries herself so maturely 🙂

I don’t totally agree with Andre i dont HATE IT, but it is very common name, but i LOVE the name Andre..AND IT IS NOT A COMMON NAME..I named my son ANDRE and he is the ONLY one that has it..both in PRIMARY SCHOOL AND HIGH SCHOOL!! hmm so is it common? NO!!! and i chose it cos hardly anyone has it!!..

Aw, congratulations! I love seeing her on Y & R and I wish Christel and Stephen and Michael all the best. I love Stephen’s statement, which sounds so nice and full of love and pride for his boy. I looked at the picture and he really is a beautiful baby. Best wishes and God bless their family. I like his name. Michael Caden is a very good combination.

Congrats on the new baby. The name doesn’t matter as long as they are healthy. However, Andre is a very common name. I am 29 and I went to school with a lot of Andre’s and now I teach and come across an Andre every year. etc, Andre, Le’Andre, De’Andre,etc. They are everywhere. But it’s ok. LOL

Congrats on baby Michael Caden.. Wanna hear something absolutely weird. I have a son named Michael and he is also born on April 17 2006. I was just currently pregnant and had a baby girl but if I had a boy his name as going to be Caden… I been stopped at numerous places with my family and friends and ppl have stopped me and asked me if we were related.LOL. I have been told that we look like we could be twins… I just wanted to tell you. But congrats on the baby Michael.. I love the young and the restless! Have a wonderful day 🙂
